Chicago, 1967

Chicago1967_2000

You know, that Boston photo from yesterday was okay, but what we really need is more snow. Mountains of it! Enough to immobilize traffic, making it easier to gather a lot of cars together all at once for a carspotting photo, right? And that’s what Chicago got in 1967, thanks to one of their legendary blizzards. Weather.gov has the details on how it all went down for those of you with a meteorological bent, but the site also has this photo of cars stuck in the snow on Lakeshore Drive, near the 16th Street overpass. What do you see here?
