Los Angeles, 1950s

Why two shots of coffee shops at night in the Fifties in the Los Angeles area (and both from the same Tumblog, Those Old Cars)? If we’re to believe everything we see in movies – and, naturally, we wouldn’t question our Hollywood overlords – then getting coffee at night has always been a natural and universally accepted thing in Los Angeles, so these photos just confirm our Tinseltown indoctrination materials. Anyway, the Hody’s above was in North Hollywood, and the coffee shop below was in Lakewood. What do you see here?
