Launched in 1990, the Z32 Nissan 300ZX was a radical departure from its predecessor, both in terms of styling and in performance. Clothed in sexy new sheetmetal, the reborn Nissan Z offered a reworked 3.0-liter V-6 that delivered 222 horsepower in normally aspirated form, more than the previous generation’s turbocharged 300ZX. The model to aspire to, at least for those with a penchant for performance, was the 300ZX Twin Turbo, which served up 300 horsepower and a 0-60 time of under six seconds, on the way to a governed top speed of 155 MPH.
