From the seller's description:
1968 Chevrolet Impala 9 passenger station wagon. Special order-396 engine, turbo hydra-matic transmission; all-original except new 4-barrel carb; 91,368 highway miles; Ziebart undercoat; plus over 50 spare parts valued in excess of $4,000.
About 90 percent of the 91,000 odometer (highway) miles were registered before 1985. From 1985 to present-day fewer than 100 miles were added each year. Most oil and filter changes occurred with less than 100 miles of use resulting in an engine that runs like a watch. The interior, except for slight wear on the driver's seat, looks like it just came from the showroom. This vehicle, with Ziebart undercoat, never experienced winter conditions as it was kept in a garage October through May and run bi-monthly.
More than 50 spare parts are included: front bumper, hood, original 4-barrel carb, steering column, rear air deflector, windshield wiper motor, master cylinder, generator, door guards, rear tail and parking light lenses, body side moldings, 4 wheel covers, and a large box of additional extra parts. All items were removed from 4 station wagons that were destined to be crushed in 1981.
