Original owner was GM Chevrolet Division Engineering. It was used by Zora Akos-Duntov, Bill Mitchell, and John DeLorean as a benchmark vehicle.
This is the 4th ISO S4 built. Vin number is B*750004* (John Lennon purchased number 3). The total number of S4 and Fidia cars built was only 188, ensuring exclusivity.
This car is powered by the original Chevrolet Corvette 327 cubic inch V-8, mated to the original 4 speed manual transmission.
The current owner has owned the car for the last 39 years.
Originally when the car was introduced to the public, it was described in its marketing material as both “the world’s fastest four-seater” as well as “the world’s most exotic four-seater”. The car is extremely fun to drive and is considered to be the 4 door DeTomaso Mangusta by Giugiaro.
The car has won several awards, including 2 ribbons at the Glenmoor Gathering.
