1955 Chrysler New Yorker DeLuxe Town and Country station wagon for sale on Hemmings.com. From the seller's description:
Though production numbers seem to vary, most would agree that just over 1,000 of these grand station wagons were manufactured–about 1,036. How many have actually survived is anyone's guess, some believe only a handful; perhaps less than ten. These cars were equipped with the 331-cubic-inch Hemi engine developing 250 horsepower, the same engine that powered the opulent 1955 Imperial coupe and the balance of the New Yorker lineup. These wagons were the most expensive station wagons of their day, selling for nearly $5,000.00, a rather hefty amount for the time. This car is a great candidate for full restoration. Included with the car are many extra parts, including a new tailgate, lenses, script and more. Less than 6,000 miles on a rebuilt motor and transmission.
