Fisher Body Craftman's Guild reunions have brought out some incredible models submitted for the long-running contest, and the recent reunion at the Art Center College of Design's Art Center Car Classic Show included plenty of never-before-seen examples, as we see in the coverage of the event posted to Dean's Garage this past week.
* An early Ford Bronco, perhaps a prototype, perhaps the first production example, recently surfaced in Illinois and it appears Carroll Shelby at one point owned it.

* We may have linked to this before, but Jamie Kitman's Secret History of Lead, published in 2000 in The Nation, is always worth revisiting.
* The Cuban grand prix races are still rather well known today, but as we see in photos that The Old Motor ran this week, stock car racing also took place on the streets of Havana. Wonder how many of those cars have been kept going with Russian diesels over the last 60 years?
* Finally, Good Spark Garage has a brief overview on the story of off-road motorcycling legend John Penton.
