The owner describes this 1967 Ford Mustang, for sale on Hemmings.com, as a restomod, but I’d like to think of it as a “Day 5,480” build. In high school, in the early 1980s, this Mustang would have made you one of the coolest people on campus, and its look, stance and performance potential still leave me wanting to ask for the keys. Purists will hate the alterations from stock, while those serious about pro-touring competition will question why more emphasis wasn’t placed on modernizing the handling.
