* It took a while, but we’re finally starting to see Japanese modified car styles appearing on American cars, specifically muscle cars like this in-progress Dodge Charger that Stance Is Everything recently captured up in Canada.

* The photo above reportedly shows Soichiro Honda bailing from a wreck while racing at Japan’s first auto racetrack, Tamagawa Speedway, according to a profile of the track on The Gentleman Racer this week.

This Series 1 E-Type was bought from Texas, dating from 61 or 62. Currently in strip down stage - here it is having all its old seals removed by hand using manual tools.

* Jaguar’s Classic Workshop in Coventry has made headlines for its continuation lightweight E-Types, but it also restores customer cars, as we see in this Bloomberg photo spread.
